My man is home!!!

Finally he came home on Christmas Eve!!! And that made my Christmas a very special one.

Terri was my exchange partner in Sock it to me Santa and she sent to me a lovely package (there was more chocolates but I ate them before I took the picture). Thank you so much Terri.

In my ILCS group we have a lovely Rene who is very ill. Many of us stitching in her honor.

I know that she loves Shiver me Timber, so I decided to stitch it for her.

Also I remember that couple of years ago she started to stitch The gift of an eagle feather for her husband. Last year she really tried to finish it but never did... Yesterday I bought this kit and will try to stitch for her. I know that she will be thrilled. Here is the pic of the project:

2010 is almost over, just a few days left.  I would like to wish you a very happy New Year! May the 2011 be the best year ever!!!

So long friends,

  4. I am so glad that your husband made it home in time for Christmas. I know that made your holiday extra special. I think that it is wonderful that you are stitching the pieces for Rene. It means that you will be thinking of her with every stitch. I am sure that she would be honored and touched by the endeavor.

  5. Why not get in touch with Tracey and have him send the one she started? She had a lot done on it and he would probably like that it was something she actually worked on? It's worth a try at least.

  6. I am so glad that your man made it home for Christmas. :)

That is so lovely that you are going to stitch that piece in Rene's honor. I have been thinking of her while I stitch too. Praying for a miracle. I know her family is praying for one too.

I hope you have a wonderul Happy New Year.

  7. Glad to hear your man is home Evalina! :)

I'll second Meari and say that if you want a hand in stitching that pattern for her I'd be happy to help. It's a fabulous idea for our friend.
