Today is the first day of the rest of my life

Some twenty years ago (well, almost twenty) I fell in love and I'd lost myself. I was there before and didn't learn my lesson - so here again story repeats itself. Today I'm older, fatter, more miserable but no matter what TODAY is the first day of the rest of my life and it's up to me what the rest of my life will look like.

Wiped my tears off and taking Frosty Girl for a run. She is really fun to be around. If you are not tired yet of watching her - here is our new video

So long my friends,
Evalina

  4. Hey, toasting you on the fatter part. Jolly-round-the midsection...another way I describe it :-)

Today IS the first day of the rest of your life. Each new day and new step forward, a new chance...a new smile after the tears.

    And you have Frosty Girl!

  6. Every day really is a new start, even if sometimes we have to count our blessings before we can even summon the energy to get out of bed.

  7. Keep writing your story, it will continue to grow with the wisdoms gained and strengths learned. And you didn't lose yourself, you let yourself serve another human being withoput aknowledgement. A very noble gesture and not a talent many can attest to, don't let this change the very nature of yourself, and remember you are amazing. Hugs...

  9. I love your positive attitude.

If there is one thing that I have learned about life, is that it is always changing. Do the things that bring you joy and live each day to the fullest...everything else will follow.

Sending ((hugs)) and prayers your way. :)

  12. The best day of your life is the day you learn you can do what you need, when you need it to satisfy what you want. That day happened to me on Sept 14th, 2009. Nothing has been the same since and my life is so much better. I am coming up on 4 years from that date and I still believe that you can pick what you want out of life and make it happen. Sit down by yourself and say "How do I want to spend my Sunday mornings?" and every person you meet, ask them how they want to spend their Sunday morning, and if their Sunday doesn't match your Sunday, move along to find someone whose Sunday matches yours.

  14. Love your positive attitude!. They say everything happens for a reason. I never worry about the older, more filled out part. I always say I earned my aging through life experiences, work and family and I am proud to tell my age. The dogs are beautiful and their love is always unconditional The best is yet to be!

  18. Some people are uncomfortable with getting fatter, but getting older is an achievement. The alternative is the thing some of us ought to sweat. And it's another year with your pumpkin!
