I've lost my stitching assistant

My handsome ZoomZoom yesterday crossed the Rainbow Bridge to the pets heaven. I always thought that he will outlive all my furry babies, he was such an athlete. Jumped high, never missed his target. Played soccer with the thread heaven or raced with my floss.

In the last few days he has lost his appetite, blood work revealed that he had belly full of cancer. His kidneys, pancreas and liver were shot...I had to make a heart aching decision and I miss him terribly... I know he is not in pain anymore and plays with Topaz somewhere in the sunny meadows...

    Sorry for you loss. It is the hardest thing to get use to that empty space. But, I'm sure he is in a happy wonderful place where there is plenty of catnip and floss.

    Oh no. I'm so sorry for your loss Evalina. ZoomZoom was such a pretty cat and reminded me of my daughter's cat, Kitter. I know you'll miss him terribly. But, you made the right choice...choosing to put his suffering to an end.

    I am so sorry. I have been there myself several times and I know it is a painful experience. ZoomZoom is to be envied for all the loving care you gave him.     I have a similar trip to the vets to make this week, so understand completely.
    I think its the last act of love we can offer them so they are no longer in pain.

    I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how that feels. :( I had to make the same decision 2 years ago when my cat Natacha fell sick. We share 20 years together. :) It still feels like yesterday, so yeah, it will take time for you to grieve.

    I believe that she is in a better place now, without any pain and that one day we will be together once again. :)
