Thanks to Heather for daring me to finish Irish Blessing before St. Patrick's day. With her encouragement my Irish Blessing is all done - well, the stitchy part. Now I have to figure out what to do with it. I'm leaning towards wall hanging. What do you think? The piece measures 13" x 7".
This year again I'm taking part in A to Z challenge. On the 23 of March I will reveal my theme. I hope you will like it.
So long my friends,
Evalina
Congrats on the gorgeous finish Evalina. I think you should frame it.

ReplyDeleteIt looks really nice!
ReplyDeleteWonderful finish!! Love the poem!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Yes, get it up on the wall!!
ReplyDeleteGreat finish! I think it would be terrific as a wall hanging.
ReplyDeleteTrès belle broderie je suis curieuse de voire la finition bonne nuit Marie-Claire
ReplyDeleteLooks terrific!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! And I'm in the wall hanging bunch as well.
ReplyDeleteI vote for framed on the wall.....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I hang almost everything! That would make a very pretty hanging.
ReplyDeleteLove it and congrats on finishing before St. Patrick's Day! I think I would frame it too, though I am utterly hopeless at anything involving a bit of sewing so I may be biased. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat finish and great quote :)
ReplyDeleteI love this saying , a frame would be good.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I do love this verse. I vote for hanging (The piece not the stitcher!)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing such a lovely blessing.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the great finish!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a lovely finish!! Either framed or made into a quilted wall-hanging would be my vote!
ReplyDeleteSince you have it finished you need to display it at least for St Paddy's!
ReplyDeleteWell done on finishing this in plenty of time for St Patrick's Day. It would look good as a quilted wall hanging if you could find a nice coordinating fabric.
ReplyDeleteIt was such a treat meeting you and stitching with you today! As you can tell, we're a pretty eclectic bunch!
ReplyDeleteI know it's long drive, but I hope we see lots and lots of you!
Come stitch with us ANYTIME!!!
Congrats on a lovely finish.
ReplyDeleteEither the wall hanging or a pillow. Beautiful work Evalina.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your latest finish, it looks great and agree with your finishing. You could bring it out every year for St Patrick's day!
ReplyDeleteIt only seems right to me that it should be in a wonderful engraved frame with a green mat and a thin gold pin stripe. Just my thoughts on the subject as that is what I would do with it.
ReplyDeleteIn Kind Regards,
Tricia
this is quite lovely...xx
