Crazy January Challenge 2012

Yep, I joined another crazy challenge... I know it's crazy!!! I made a mistake in 2011, I chose 15 big projects and there is no way I could ever finish them in one year. Why? Well, it's simple: during the year I'm so tempted to start new projects that I forget what I've committed myself into. This year is different! I've selected 15 small kits from my stash. It should not take more than 1 week to complete each one. That way I can still work on all my WIPs and still have room for more new starts . To stay on track with work in progress I joined 2012 WIPocalypse.  These are projects that I will start in 2012:

  1.  Women who behave
  2. Heart's Secret from The Victoria Sampler (couldn't wait... it's done!) replacement: Dog Lessons for People by Lizzie Kate
  3. Great Friends from Three Needles
  4. Friends of the SnowmaN
  5. So long kitty by Helga Mandl from Creative Poppy Designs
  6. Kittens in the Spring from Dimensions
  7. Bringing Home the Tree from Little House Needleworks
  8. See No Evil (Dimensions)
  9. Seagull and the lighthouse (permin of copenhagen)
  10. French Country - Squirrel
  11. French Country - Pig
  12. French Country - Lamb
  13. The Globetrotter Banner (Needle Treasures)
  14. Garden Geese (Signature Collection)
  15. Joy Ornament (Gold Collection)
  16. Noel Ornament (Gold Collection)
Now, wish me luck!

Crazy challenge 2011

I joined a crazy challenge, the idea behind the challenge is to work on existing stash. It looks like my challenge will last several years as I have a few very big projects... and there is always something new that catches my eye and I do not have enough of will power to not starting a new project. After all it is my hobby and who cares when it will be finished... The main point is to have a good time and enjoy it.
So here is the list and I will scratch projects that are done.
  1. Shiver me timbers  all done!
  2. Egyptian Temple from HAED
  3. Guardian Angel
  4. Lighthouse Island
  5. Love ornament
  6. Pope John Paul II by Sandy Orton - WIP
  7. Egyptian Empire
  8. Heart of the Valley - WIP
  9. Provence - WIP
  10. Ships and shells - WIP
  11. Temple of the Bastet
  12. Pirate Santa

    1. Good luck on your CJC 2012! I also didn't finish all mine from 2011, but I will add them to 2012. Then anything not finished can roll over to 2013!

    2. THe French Squirrel is a wonderful project. Mine is all done. It was one of those extras, not on the list.

    5. You really are crazy! I would get so confused. The African Lady will be amazing when finished but what a huge project! Good luck with all of them.
