and to give you an idea of his size, here is an ermine with a mouse:
and I learned that in the summer their coat is darker:
It is too bad I could not keep him. You see I also learned that a little bugger is a danger to my ZoomZoom and because I love my kitty to pieces I decided to get rid off ermine (or weasel). Otherwise I would try to domesticate him/her.

And I received a Halloween exchange from Elena. I can't wait to start stitching those cute patterns, but exam has a priority. And the chocolates are delicious! Thank you so much Elena.
And that's not all! I also received a PIF from Mel in Calgary. The pattern with the tree has an "e" in them, and it could be an "e" for Evalina. I like it, thank you so much Mel!
Now it is my turn to offer the same.
If you would like to receive 5 stitching items from me, please leave a comment under this message clearly indicating that you would like to be included in my PIF (pay it forward) draw. I will announce winners a week from today, on Saturday, December 5th. Here are the rules:
- Send no less than 5 stitching related items per person within the next 365 days.
- Items can be DMC, other threads, stitching needles, straight pins, buttons, scissors, ribbons, etc. - a combination of items such as 3 threads, 1 pack of straight pins and 1 pack of stitching needles or just 5 threads.
- The items must be new and not used. (Send things you'd be happy to receive.)
- If you win, you must be willing to post this PIF on your blog and do the same for at least 2 people.

I am a bad girl... I can't resist stitching my Frederick. The only excuse that I have is that I need some time to put mu thoughts together while studying so extensively. And I can't just "put my thoughts together" doing nothing! Frederick has a spot right beside my desk and it only takes a 90 degree turn... you can imagine the rest...
I didn't stitch a whole lot, here is the progress:
Evalina,
ReplyDeleteI would love to be included in you PIF.
Your little visitor is too cute. To bad you couldn't keep him.

ReplyDeleteFredrick is looking really good! Every stitch counts.
ReplyDeleteLove your little visitor, so cute and lovely looking. Congrats on all your goodies too!
Please consider me for your PIF, thank you!

Your visitor was so cute! and Frederick is looking great! Have a wonderful time stitching on the new stuff and even though I would like to be involved in the PIF I am not sure how many stitchers read my blog :-) (still here goes dragonsteeluk@yahoo.co.uk)
ReplyDeleteEvalina ~ Frederick is looking great! ... and what lovely gifts you've received. I agree, the Ermine is darling - too bad they're dangerous towards cats.

Great PIF. No need to include me, though, as I'm already involved in one right now.
ReplyDeleteFrederick looks great.
Your little visitor is a cutie!
Yes good little old Ermin or Weasel can be a big problem. We have them her in the USA too. They have of all things killed out ducks.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say that Fredric is looking wonderful! That is what I get for being on IM at the same time I am looking at blogs
ReplyDeletei think the idea of pif is wonderful and i am willing to add one to my blog if you pick me to win. love your visitor...
ReplyDeletePat
What a cutie although they aren't very nice critters. Neat to see. Frederick is looking great!

Love the pics of the little ermine, but naturally your sweet kitty is a priority! Love Frederick and all your lovely gifts!
ReplyDeleteHe is very cute but I know weasels are not the greatest pets in the world (however, he probably would take care of any rodent problem you had) and I would definitely take the cat over him.
ReplyDeleteFrederick is really coming along.
He is cute but he is a wild animal. Love Frederick and your lovely gifts.
ReplyDeleteMarl
Glad you liked the PIF gifts Evalina. (and yes I thought of the E for you because of your name). :)
ReplyDeleteFrederick is looking great. Love the Hallowe'en exchange AND cute ermine!
Great progress with Frederick. My daughter is stitching it as well but alas I believe it has sat untouched in her WIP's basket for a while.
ReplyDeleteYou will be done in no time!
Cute visitor. Didn't you just have problems with mice?? I bet he would help get rid of them. You certainly need a mental break from studying and Frederick is the perfect solution!!! Cute Halloween patterns too!
ReplyDeleteAdorable visitor you had, but I think I'd be a little scared of him as well. Please include me in your PIF; I'd love to play! vmossman2@comcast.net
ReplyDeleteFrederick is looking great. Cute visitor
ReplyDeletePlease consider me for your PIF. It would be my first ever. (s.tompkins76@yahoo.com). Your ermine is adorable. I thought it was a ferret at first. I've always wanted one but they are illegal to own in California. Frederick is looking awesome and your exchanges are fantastic. Happy Holidays and Happy Stitching!
ReplyDeleteWhile those little critters are so cute they can be very nasty too. Better to watch them in the wild than to ry to tame one.
ReplyDelete"Freddie" is looking better all the time.
Your visitor is so pretty. Did you scare him away or what?? What nice exchange items, like the floss colors.
