Little stitcher update

My new project is very addictive, look how much I have done yesterday:

and can you imagine how much I will have done by the end of the weekend? First I started stitching it on the same fabric but over 1 with 1 thread - I really wanted to make a small pincushion... It did not work! The stitches were waaay to small for my eyes. So I frogged it all and now I'm stitching over 2 with 2 threads. I love the look. Finished piece will be a little to big for a pincushion but it will make a lovely flat-fold or small wall hanging. It looks like the finished stitched area will be 6.5" x 6.5" and with a small margin around it should be about 7" x 7". Now back to stitching!

So long my friends,
Evalina

  4. Love stitching. I made four pictures in tiny cross stitch while my eyes could take the strain. Three years of constant work. Now, they are framed and I can gaze at my work whenever I like. Of course, the time comes when you run out of wall space. hehe.
