Full moon - WIPocalypse time!

Would the super moon made the WIPocalypse super too? I was trying hard to do something super for this update. I stitched like there would be no tomorrow hoping that I can finish my Vulture's Welcome. I didn't but I have made great progress:


This month theme is the oldest and the newest WIP. The newest you can see above, the oldest... I'm not sure. I guess would be something from my crazy January challenge. For sure I know what is my oldest UFO - Sailboats and Seagulls! I started this some quarter of the century ago and as soon as I locate that piece I will finish it - cross my heart! This is where I left it off in January 2012:


There is not that much left to finish, I have no idea why it is taking me so long.


My stitchy to do list for the next week:
  • to finish Vulture's Welcome
  • to locate the oldest UFO and get over with it!

    Great progress on VUlture's Welcome since the last time. Those sailboats will soon be done. I love the theme with the oldest and newest WIP. Very interesting to see how old those oldest WIPs are.

    I thought I was the only person to stitch a vulture! It is not your typical cross stitch motif LOL.

    Isn't it funny how some WIPs have so little to do to finish them but still they sit there?

    It is always so fulfilling to finally finish a long overdue UFO, isn't it? We all must have lots of those in our stitching baskets!
