Strawberry Thief

After Super Duper Crazy Challenge (60 new starts during January and February) I thought I'm good for a few years of stitching and under no circumstances I would start any new project. Oh, how wrong I was! I just entered into daily SAL with Jacquie of My Journey. We are stitching Strawberry Thief by HAED. The piece is gorgeous but I'd never see so much confetti in a chart...
So we decided to stitch just a hundred stitches a day - the project should be completed by Christmas 2018. On my right I posted a progress bar and once in a while I will post some pictures of my work in progress.
The original art is by William Morris under same title and, to my surprise, it is quite famous.

    Yes yes yes!! I need to post this! Ha ha what am I like! I love the idea of the slider bar, no idea how to do it or how it works but looks fun! I may add a tab at the top of my blog and add the photos to there... Keep them all in one place :)

    I love the idea of 100 stitches a day...completely manageable and a finish to aim for too! I love William Morris designs and this one is beautiful. I look forward to watching you both stitch this!

    Such a beautiful piece....any William Morris would be complex...but did
    not suspect the confetti in so dense a piece.... You will have a masterpiece
    when it is completed...

    Your crazy, Evalina! I can barely juggle 2 projects, let alone 60+ But 100 stitches a day does sound manageable!

    I love the Strawberry Thief :o) Will enjoy watching you both stitch this one!
    My husband has made an applique "Strawberry Thief" quilt using all the William Morris fabrics to make the birds and flowers :o)
