Halloween House

What a slow going project! Regardless the turtle progress I'm determined to get it done (some time). Here is the new pic with the graveyard done. Both ghosts in the graveyard are stitched with glow in the dark floss (it is really glowing!!!). I'm not a big fan of stitching with this floss so the house ghosts will be done with normal DMC white.

So long my friends,

  1. It is looking good. What is it that you don't like in working with the glow in the dark floss? I have not tried it but am thinking about it someday.

  5. It's looking really good!!! Never tried the glow in the dark thread, what's wrong with it?? Is it a bit like metallic/Kreinic?? (Because then I know exactly how you must feel!!)

  7. I imagine the chemicals on the glow in the dark floss leave a bad taste in your mouth, literally. But the project is great; we're all loving it.

  8. You are making good progress on the House. I am not a big fan of the glow in the dark thread either, but it is worth the aggravation when it is done.

  9. I love this house. You are stitching it so well. It is on my wish list. Do local needlework stores usually have the "glow" thread or is it something I would have to buy from a specialist store?

  11. How smart to use Glow-in-the-Dark floss for the ghosts! I notice that you also filled in your skeleton. It looks great!
