Another month went by and I did not buy any stash. This month I mainly worked on 'Mind Independent and Free' designed by Carriage House Samplings. When is done it will look like this:
and this is my progress so far:
I'm stitching this piece on 40ct linen with silk floss. I guess my eyes are getting older because sometimes it's hard to see these tiny threads...
And look what I saw last week:
a mama bear with a little cub! I didn't dare to leave the car and the picture I took with my phone. Unexpectedly it turned out not bad at all!
So long my friends,
Evalina

ReplyDeleteWOW what a sweet photo of mama and baby bear! Thank you for staying in your car when you saw the bears......
ReplyDeleteThat's the first thing I thought of - lol. Lovely stitching - all those are eyelet stitches right? They sure add lots of beautiful texture to the sampler and looks wonderful. love Annette
Indeed it is bear season for us Canadians! Good thing you were in your car. Great photo of the two of them. Up in PG, we always had bears in our backyard...and baby cubs climbing our trees! Wonderful progress on Mind Independent! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLovely sampler.
ReplyDeleteAnd your bears certainly beat the animals I showed on my blog this week! Mind you, I'd prefer not to have actual bears in my back garden, deer will be fine :-)
Beau debut de broderie la foto avec les ours est belle bonne journée Marie-Claire
ReplyDeleteYou have started a beautiful sampler. It will look great on your 40ct fabric. And wow, what a sweet picture of the mama bear playing with the little one.
