The first thing - let's get back to our song.
On the eight day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
- eight maids-a-milking
- seven swans-a-swimming
- six geese-a-laying
- five golden rings
- three French hens
- two turtle doves
- and a partridge in a pear tree
a chart from LHN - The rose in Morning. Rules same as yesterday.
The second thing - The Oldest UFO
I checked all participants progress and the prize goes to
Congratulations my dear!!!
The contest is still going, if you have an old UFO you can join us here! Next prize will be awarded April 1 - sweep these UFOs away!
The third thing - Crazy January Challenge, Day 1
I'm not sure how this will go for me this year, I keep changing my projects... I thought I will go just with small ones so I can finish them all. That was the plan but yesterday another project was asking for a daylight - Protective Care from Lenart
how can I say "no" to such beauty? I didn't and here is my progress for day one:
That's the full width of the project. Since it fits so nicely in my q-snaps I will work from the top to the bottom.
And the fifth thing - followers appreciation gift!
I am so grateful to all my followers for reading my blog, sharing my ups and downs - I decided to have a surprise draw. The prize goes to...
Congratulations dear Nancy and thank you for your lovely comments through many years.
So long my friends,
Evalina
wow again a wonderful chart of LHN, please enter my name. Good luck with the Crazy January Challenge, I too I'm always changing my stitching projects
ReplyDeleteHi Evalina, Interesting post and you are so generous with your giveaways. Please count me in for this one, too.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Kaye xoxox
ooo well done to the lucky ladies and I haven't got that chart either and it is rather pretty :) well done on your elephant start ... I can see why you just had too ..lol :) love mouse xxxx
ReplyDeleteHi Evalina!! You are so generous with your giveaways. I love this one. I think you will do fine with your challenge even if you keep changing your mind on the projects. You will be working on projects you really want to stitch. I was going to join your Oldest UFO SAL but I realized that my my Oldest UFO's are in my storage unit and that is 580 miles away. So, I can't do that until I get to my unit. I do have one that is from 1985 with me but in order to finish it, I would have to make some changes as it was a wedding piece that I had designed for my own wedding. Since I have been divorced since 1995, I don't think that would work. But one day....I will join you!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a surprise to read my name in a drawing that I didn't enter! LOL Thanks Evalina....I'm sure I will appreciate whatever you have taken the time to send. It's so nice to have long time friends on the internet! You've been having such sweet giveaways! And nice start on your elephant!
ReplyDeleteС Новым годом!Удачи и радости!
ReplyDeleteI love LHN, please count me into your giveaway.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Years! Those elephants look stunning. Good Luck on that project. I would love to own this LHN pattern. LHN has such great designs.
ReplyDeleteI dug out an old UFO from my closet and I think I'm going to rip out the little bit of stitching I did 10 years ago because the back looks hideous! LOL
Thanks!
Jen

ReplyDeleteYour new WIP is beautiful. I stitched a piece that fit perfectly in my qsnap as yours does. It makes it so much easier to work on the piece.
