Mindjack Trilogy

During my A-Z Challenge I came across Susan Kay Quinn, the author of 'Open Minds'. The book sounded so intriguing, I placed it on my to-read list... Well, next day I was reading it and two days later I couldn't wait for the next one... Guess what - it came!

Announcing the release of Closed Hearts, the sequel to Open Minds by Susan Kaye Quinn.
Book Two of the Mindjack Trilogy
When you control minds, only your heart can be used against you.
Eight months ago, Kira Moore revealed to the mindreading world that mindjackers like herself were hidden in their midst. Now she wonders if telling the truth was the right choice after all. As wild rumors spread, a powerful anti-jacker politician capitalizes on mindreaders’ fears and strips jackers of their rights. While some jackers flee to Jackertown—a slum rife with jackworkers who trade mind control favors for cash—Kira and her family hide from the readers who fear her and jackers who hate her. But when a jacker Clan member makes Kira’s boyfriend Raf collapse in her arms, Kira is forced to save the people she loves by facing the thing she fears most: FBI agent Kestrel and his experimental torture chamber for jackers. Who will join me in 'read along'?

So long my friends,

  1. Thanks so much for hosting, Evalina! :)

  2. Cool! Hosting Susan at my blog was something I was also very glad to do. She is pretty great :-)

And thank you for checking out my A to Z reflection post. Following back :-)

  3. i love the alternate reality she created, makes you see things differently in life!

  4. Thank you for visiting, Evalina. It's incredible you are going to visit all those 400+ reflective blogs for the A-Z Blogging Challenge. Wow! I love the mix of photos and day-to-day commentary on your blog. We had snow here in Spokane until the beginning of May, but now (not to make you jealous) but trees are truly green and all kinds of flowers are sprouting. We're way past crocus and tulips here. May your writing go well!

  5. That sounds really interesting. Hmmm... I may need to pick those up.

  6. Hey Evalina, we are fellow launchers for Susan's super story. I'm so glad the A to Z connected us.

  7. Oh, this sounds great. Susan's first book is on my Kindle and waiting, but my TBR pile has been deep and winter and spring filled with editing my own stuff, which slows my reading considerable, but I REALLY look forward to this--I love her ideas.

  8. Sounds interesting. Something else to end to my never ending "to be read" list. :)

  9. This sounds like a really interesting book, its going on my list! Blessings, Amanda
