You should see my amused face when I open my eyes this morning. Every day I was hoping to see trees covered with green buds - instead I saw at least seven inches of SNOW... It's May 16th for God's sake!
I am so tempted to stay home and stitch but the weather man is saying that later in the morning the snow will stop. I guess I should go to work earlier to skip the traffic...
Oh yuck!! Okay Evalina - you need to move south! We've been enjoying mid-20's celcius weather for about a week now, and I'm working in my garden every day. You're right, however, that at least you have an excuse to sit inside and stitch ;-) Stay warm my friend!
We had 30C here yesterday and are headed to it again and not that far away you've got snow. Insane. However they say that system will hit here on Friday and can't seem to decide between snow or rain for us. Ah, Canada in the "spring". I think we don't really have that season up here. :)
It's gorgeous to look at, and I would like it for a day or two if I didn't have to go anywhere. Otherwise, Yick!!!! I hope you get some buds soon, Evalina. Doesn't Mother Nature know it's supposed to be Spring???
When we lived in Montana, one year we got 6 inches of snow the Thursday before Memorial Day (last Monday in May). Thankfully it melted within a day. Does look pretty though!!
Snow?? OOOOOOhhhh sometimes i could do a day or two of 7 inches of snow. Other then that I would want my 80F that Mid Missouri is having right now. Gotta love global warming!
Wow. Okay...I live in the Pacific Northwest up by the Canadian border (Abbotsford) and we get rain so much and have had a week of sunshine and I cannot get enough of it!!! Snow might just make me groan/whimper! HAHA...
I remember when we live northern Wisconsin, and getting a few late snow storms. Most people south of us got rain, we got it as snow. Ugh.
ReplyDeletePoor you. I won't torture you with what I see outside my windows, except to say, the only white I see is my flowers.:-)

ReplyDeleteOh my. No snow. Just unseasonably chilly. At least it looks beautiful, although I don't suppose that is much compensation.
ReplyDeleteGood grief...I hope it doesnt come here! We have had sun/hail/rain all within an hour but I draw the line at snow!
ReplyDeleteAnyone who knows me will understand when I respond to your post by saying ENVY!!! I really need to look into moving up your way : )

ReplyDeleteEr, I mean... sandals. (This is just not my day.)
DeleteThat's amazing - it's almost 90 here today, so I guess we sucked your warmness down and left you with the snow!

ReplyDeleteI would be so depressed to see that much in May! I have seen it snow in May in MI, but not that quantity!
ReplyDeleteUm, it was 90 here today . . .
ReplyDeleteWow. I hope it doesn't last! Hopefully it's all melted by now and you're back to the crocuses and spring.

ReplyDeleteHow nice to find your blog, and thanks for stopping by mine. Your stitchery is inspiring. You may keep the snow, however.
