Yep, he is my first male hero in this challenge. Freddie Mercury. I love his music and his voice. Despite over 23 years have passed since his death, he remains one of the greatest artists we will ever see..
I remember the day he died so clearly, and I still get a tear in my eye when I watch documentaries. He was a true star, an incredible talent, and hugely missed.
I adore Freddie! That shocked me when I read it's been 23 years since he passed away. I didn't realise how long ago it was as he still has such an amazing presence still. xo Alicia
Another great choice! I was lucky enough to see him in concert a few times including the last time he played in England. We also went to the Tribute concert at Wembley after he died. You are right, no one person could match his voice. David Bowie, Annie Lennox and Gary Cherone tried and did a good job between the three of them but it was not the same. He was such an amazing showman too.
He was such a character, and such a great voice!
ReplyDeletePowerful ! Is it 23 years? Oh my..... still powerful....a classic
ReplyDeleteSorry, never heard of him.
