I did not have to think too long about my destination that starts with Q. It is Quadra Island in British Columbia. I was there couple of years ago and I have to go back! It is a tiny island, very peaceful and beautiful. I would love to live there!
Now, I'm up to date with the challenge. So long my friends,
Evalina
Very nice photos. We know of a family that always vacationed there. They usually camped.
ReplyDeleteThose photographs are spectacular! Such a beautiful part of the province. Thanks for the follow, Evalina--I'm reciprocating.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I love your "stitching assistant"! He or she looks like a very diligent and responsible worker.:)
Hi! Thank you for visiting my blog and I'm so glad I returned the favour - I knew from the photos without reading or even thinking of the letter Q that it was Quadra! I spent the whole summer there last year working for a sea kayaking company. I didn't want to come back to the UK after that...so beautiful and so peaceful. I will get back there some day, and I would love to even live there too.

Naomi - I know what you mean! ... but I actually get to live here (Quadra Island). It's the most amazing place, filled with the most wonderful community. We are so glad that we decided to pick this island as our home!
DeleteWonderful photos of this beautiful place, gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOoh, so pretty! What part of the province is this? (The first picture makes me want to think west, but I'm not that familiar with B.C. outside of Vancouver, so I'm not sure!)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images. I hope it stays so wild and lovely.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait till we start traveling Evalina. I'm still working on Good Morning although I didn't make much progress this past week. If your tired of waiting for me go ahead and start back on yours.

Evalina - you know that you are welcome to come back to Quadra Island any time!! It was so wonderful to meet you in person when you were here - and Gerald and I would love to see you again. Hopefully it won't be too long before you make it back here - our door is always open.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like paradise. Can I go there until all the snow melts... which at this rate may be never. lol!
