R for Robinson Crusoe (A to Z Challenge)

Gosh I was so madly in love with his lifestyle in my young years. Life on the exotic island far away from civilization appealed to me a lot. Despite all hardship he mastered survivor skills.

So long my friends,

  1. That still sounds like paradise to me on some days! Maybe I just need a vacation. Nice post :-)

  3. I never actually read it... We talked about it in literature class, but it wasn't mandatory reading. My big favorite was Gulliver's Travels :)

  4. All that adapting and surviving was a lot more appealing when I was younger. :-)

  6. I'm the opposite. The idea of getting stuck on an island and having to "rough it"... No. I like my luxury. Running water. Lights. TV...

  7. Why did Robinson Crusoe have the weekend off? Because he got all his work done by Friday!

    Hahaha.
