Turtle Trot

Did anyone said that spring is near? Well, not here! That is what I woke up to this morning...

And I've completely forgot to post my Turtle Trot update. I'm a day late but here it is:

The poor 'Halloween House' was neglected for way too long. It started as a SAL with Linda of Stitching with my Furbabies  over a year ago. There is eleven of stitching same project and so far only one was finished so I still have a chance not to be a last one to finish it... It is back on Q-snaps and has a few more stitches in. From now on I will work on HH every Friday.

'Good Morning' got the writing done and from now on I will stitch this project only once a week on Thursdays

M. Quertier 1799 has another motif done and from now on I'm dedicating Sundays to Scarlet Letter projects.

So long my friends,

  9. Nice pieces. I love the Good Morning piece. It makes you think spring is coming. Only problem is winter is hanging on. We have two more storms heading our way giving us a few more inches of the snow. I look forward to seeing your pieces progress.

  10. Ummm. I will not mention my weather. You definitely shouldn't go see my blog pics from yesterday. LOL No honest. Don't look.

I *will* focus on how much I love all your progress! That Halloween House looks too cool -- love the roof! And 1799... well, I might just need to find that one myself. It's been a while since I finished a proper Quaker sampler and I think my needles are itchy for another go.

Here's to Spring heading your way.

  11. We've had a cold week but with less snow on the ground (though it's been falling happily enough).

I'm glad to see you're Blogging from A to Z again this year. I'll drop in again and see what you're up to then. Meanwhile... Happy stitching!

  12. Evalina
I had the same temperature as you today here in Ontario.
I have to say I love your Good Morning cross-stitch.
I admire just how dedicated you are to your craft!
I'm afraid I'm all over the board with my crafts, only
working on them whenever the mood strikes.

  13. I could not live in that cold weather. Oh brrrr!!!! HH looks great. I just love the color of fabric your using. The Scarlet Letter piece is really pretty. Good Morning is terrific. Love the colors. Didn't get a chance to work on it this week, but will for sure work on it next Thursday. You gotta give me a chance to catch up with you. I have only done a few stitches. But you can catch up on HH.

  15. Beautiful progress on all your WIP's! That's really cold! I'm glad I'm down here on the coast although we have that damp cold that gets into your bones and make them ache!
