I for In the news (A to Z Challenge)

Very good article in Globe and Mail: Seniors in long-term care often overprescribed drugs: study
Another one from Home and Long Term Care: Caring for someone doesn't mean having to go it alone
Video from Global News
And a link to a lovely site Dementia Friends

So long my friends,

  1. I think if I had one piece of advice to offer people involved in caretaking it would be find ways to get help. Caring for someone, especially someone you love dearly is challenging on so many levels, and can become overwhelming and isolating. So getting needed respite is important. I love that you're taking the opportunity of this A-to-Z challenge Evalina to provide some needed education and personal perspective.

  6. Thank you for sharing these link. My family is convinced the drugs my mother was given did more harm than good.
