Happy Friday!

Yesterday I woke up so overwhelmed... 2 exams in the next couple days and a corporate tax course right after... and I wasn't ready. Quickly I made an executive decision - I'm writing only one exam, second one I'm deferring to June and changing sessions for tax course. The outcome is that I have a higher balance on my credit card but I'M FEELING GOOD. Last six weeks were not the easiest for me, what's the purpose for putting more pressure than I can handle? I chose to enjoy life a little more today. I will catch up on emails, update blogs, stitch and do some house work. And the best part - I do not have to go back to work til Monday!

Just before the exam yesterday I picked up a package from the post office. It was from Leslie, and o boy, she spoiled me rotten! Look what she sent to me:

a beautiful hand made card

and all kinds of floss  (satin, rayon, cotton, metallic - all beautiful!)

and some charts to stitch with that floss

and St. Patric's confetti and an awesome pin with pocket card (I will wear that pin on the 17th!)

and lovely window stickers! (couple of them are already on my fridge)

Thank you so much Leslie!

A while ago I participated in One World One Heart event and I was a lucky winner of Julie's give away! Here is the picture:

Thank you Julie, it is lovely!

  1. What a wonderful gift from both!!! Julie and Leslie !!

  2. I am so glad that you decided to take time out to enjoy your life. It seems hard to do that at times. Your packages are WONDERFUL!! Whoot!! Whoot!

  3. great st. Patty's day gifts and enjoy everyday to the fullest.

  4. Great package from Leslie! Sounds like the best thing to defer your exams for awhile! No need for excess stress. Had a busy couple weeks with my granddaughter and being sick, so I don't have much stitching progress to share yet!

  5. Sounds like you did the right thing. Love your exchange!

  6. Congrats on your mail surprises. Nice stuff :)

Sending you luck for your exam. I know the pressure you must feel. Good executive decision!

  7. Beautiful blog. Your stash looks like a bunch of fun! Thanks for your comments on my "Schoolgirl Lessons". I'm adding a link to your blog on mine. Hope you don't mind.

Thank you for leaving your comments. They mean a world to me, keep me inspired and motivated.
