12 days of Christmas in Blogland - Day 1

There is a confusion in the world about 12 days of Christmas. Many think that it is 12 days before the big day but really it starts on Christmas Day (December 25th) and goes to Epiphany (January 6th).

On the first day of Christmas,

My true love gave me the nicest kiss ever and I'm giving to one of you,

chart by Lizzie Kate "Forgive Quickly". Would you like to have it? Live a comment. If you are non stitcher I will stitch it for you! The draw will be on Saturday, January 7th.

Merry Christmas my friends,
Evalina

  7. .....and I was always told not to take Christmas decorations down until January 6 otherwise there would be bad luck in the house. Hope you had a lovely Christmas celebration and have a fabulous New Year.

  18. We have tried to share the special 12 Days of Christmas with our family, especially when our young family were growing up. We loved celebrating Epiphany on January 6th with a special dinner together, and some years, would end the evening with opening some special little gifts that we had made for one another.

It would mean a lot to me to be entered into your very special giveaway of this design.

    Blessings to You!

I am not familiar with the song as I live in Finland and I have never really heard it. I have seen lots of patterns of that though, so I knew about it but not any kind of details..

Have a wonderful new year! :)
