just rambling...

I decided to do NaBloPoMo (challenge of blogging daily for the whole month) and so far so good, I didn't miss posting in December yet... and it will not happen today even though I do not have much to say. I feel like an empty balloon, no energy, tired... not a clue what to write about. The cat and the dog are sleeping, washer is doing laundry, Freddy is in his world of spreadsheets and graphs... I even do not want to open a book (I guess I'm all read out with textbooks!) or watch TV. I need something to "pick me up".  Normally I would go to bed but tonight I started that darn laundry... maybe I will stitch a little. Of course I would love to start something new (it always happens when I'm bored and pooped) but it would be much wiser to finish something...

What do you do when you feel like that? Do you have any "pick me up" secrets?

So long my friends,
Evalina

  1. It's nice to read your posts everyday, even if there are no stitching pics. Sorry, I don't have a solution. I felt like that tonight and decided to go to bed early. No stitching, no reading, no baking, no TV. Maybe you'll be more energetic tomorrow!

  2. sounds like the perfect domestic evening ,...lol when I don't know what to do and you know you just can't start a new piece ... I tend to go through my stash and just sit and think mmmm what can I do with this, make it for etc usually I have a cup of tea with me as well ... then I feel more inspired to get something finished :)love mouse xxxx

  3. If you have any extra cash, shopping therapy is the best alternative ;) And buying a stash is more reasonable than starting a new project every time you feel low or bored.

  5. You have done a good job posting everyday and I like reading your blog I don't have any solutions for your situation. I find myself in that same state of mind.
