I can't believe it!

I've done some serious stitching this weekend!  My "Let's Sew" is done and now I'm trying to figure out how to finish it... It's not a big piece, it measures only 7.5" by 5.5". I've never done no sew cube - who knows, maybe that's what I will do!

I've also finished first part of SAL "Dawn of Spring" host by mouse in one of my yahoo groups.

I guess I was influenced by St. Paddy's Day and pick for this project a lovely green floss named Lucky from WDW....

And I was stitching an ornament from 2011 special Christmas issue of Just Cross Stitch - Christmas Cat Tree:

Many of you enjoying spring and warm weather, I still wear parka and boots. Days on the north are longer and warmer but we still have a lot of snow on the ground. This weekend I had an awesome visitor:

Yep, that's a lynx! For the first time I saw lynx so close, he came right to the cabin and was sniffing under bird feeders and Topaz's house. He has a beautiful face, we were maybe 10 feet away from each other. I run to the cabin to get the camera and took this picture when he was just leaving. Can you see that smile?

So long friends,
Evalina

Wow, what a great photo of the Lynx, you are so lucky to be able to see things like that.............we have mainly foxes, badgers and hedge hogs, though saying that we have a couple of owls living by us, I hear them all the time but have never seen them.

  13. Oh, a lynx. I would have wanted to pet it, lol. (I have this no fear thing going on. Also a crazy vibe, lol.) Great job on your stitching too. I just saw another blog with the Halloween cat tree finished, and it's darling. I bet the Christmas one will be just as cute!

  16. Some great finishes! Can't wait to see how you really finish them off. That Lynx is very cool! Look at how large his legs are!!!! Sorry about your parka wearing still. We have mowed the grass 2 times already, but have cooled down to almost normal after our shorts weather of last week!

  19. Congratulations :) "Let's Sew" it's gorgeous and I bet it's going to be a gorgeous cube :) I loved the colours you picked for DAwn of Spring (but I'm a suspect since green is my favourite colour xD - my partner says the only reason why we came to Ireland was because of the green eheheh) and I'm so jealous of you... so close to such a gorgeous animal... the lynx picture is amazing... and thinking he was so close to you.... you must be on a really peaceful area, thanks for sharing the pictures :)
