a little update

I received RAK (random act of kindness) from Shelley. She must know that I love tigers. Thank you so much Shelley.

And since the tragedy in Smolensk last Saturday, it is hard for me to stitch on my projects. So I joined the kissing pillow  project through my new guild and somehow I stitch those with a lot of passion. I decided to stitch 10 of them.

And I signed up for cyberclass from Victoria Sampler. The class starts today and it will run for three weeks. I'm working on Birds of a Feather:

I mentioned in earlier post, that this is a group project in the embroidery guild that I joined recently. But we are meeting only once a month and there are some specialty stitches that I think I'll need help with. And this is where the cyberclass will be very handy. For now I'm just preparing fabric and sorting floss but I should have a nice update next week.

So long my friends,

  1. A wonderful rak Evalina. The white tiger is beautiful. Good luck on the guild project.

  2. Evalina,

It totally slipped my mind that you are Polish. I always think of you as being from the Yukon. :) I'm very sorry about what happened in Smolensk and am keeping you & Poland in my thoughts.

  3. That white tiger will look awesome! You've started a nice VS project and I'll look forward to your updates.

  4. A lovely rak! Congrats. :)

I am so happy to see you stitching something. Even though I know you're not feeling great. *hugs*

Can't wait to see the start on Birds.

  5. I love all the big cats.
I'm following and hope you'll do the same.

  6. Nice RAK - VS looks like it'll be fun!

  7. What a great RAK you received! The kissing pillows are a great cause!

Thank you for leaving your comments. They mean a world to me, keep me inspired and motivated.
