a night before the exam...

Last few days have been painful... I didn't do  anything extraordinary, just band over to see what's in the box and, that's it, couldn't get back to normal position. Can I blame this on Mercury also?!? I do not think so, I am a human not a robot!

Or maybe it is just an excuse for not studying hard enough... Today I'm feeling much, much better but still... can't force myself  to a little practice before exam. I have no idea what the hell is wrong with me!

My exam will be an "open book" exam, which means that I can take with me to the exam room this lovely book, all three thousand pages! I'm also allowed to have a little (1.5"x2") hand written sticky notes, one per page and I can write on all margins and any "white spaces in the book. What that tells ya? The exam will be brutal! So I'm preparing for it in a little different way...

I was stitching a little

and checked on tomatoes

and soon I can harvest rose hips (we have tons of wild roses), if you have any recipe what to do from rose hips, please share with me

Our beautiful, purple flower fireweed turned into some kind of cotton... has some charm to it...

and a close up

After long day preparations for the exam I went shopping. Heaven and Earth Design has sale this week so I bought:

Poppies, and

Winter Wings

Aren't they beautiful? I have no idea when I will stitch them but I'm happy to have them in my stash collection.

  1. Love the designs from HAED....seems people can't resist them. Our tomatoes are almost done.....we love to make spaghetti sauce & salsa the most, but make other things.
    Love your blog & stitching.

  4. Hope your back is feeling better, I have done the same thing and just have to go to the Chiropractor for a couple visits and I'm back to normal. Hope the exam went well for you too. Sometimes just having lovely patterns in your stash is makes you feel better.

  7. LOL, you sounded like me preparing for an exam... everything but.

Glad you're feeling a bit better. I've had the same thing happen to me. I hurt my back mopping the floor (of all things) and the dr threatened to put me in the hospital if I didn't lie down and let the muscle relaxers do their "magic".

    Good luck with the exam.
